When Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey were looking for full-range enclosures, they came to Ampeg. They wanted a true hi-fidelity tone with lots of power handling capability. The BXT enclosures feature American-made, custom cast-frame drivers, and 1” compression drivers for the horns. The crossover was designed for Victor and Steve to smoothly reproduce the mids and highs for a focused, naturally-scooped tone. Front shelf ports produce extended low frequencies eliminating the need for additional cabinets. The BXT enclosures include both 1/4” and Neutrik Speakon® connectors, and employ the same high frequency protection found on the Classic and Pro Series cabinets.
