I bought this cello locally and thought it was excellent value for money. They are fitted with super-sensitive red label strings, which are worth about 55 pounds alone, so these are really good. The case which comes as part of the outfit is very protective and durable, you'll never need to replace it and it has separate pockets for your music books, rosin and bow. There are straps for carrying it on your back, which is really handy especially for school people. The way it is stained makes it look beautiful, although it looks shinier than in the pictures. The keys are slipping a little, although this will improve as time goes on (this is typical of a new instrument) and they don't slip as badly as some. I would say it would be a good idea to buy a more expensive bow, although the one provided is OK for beginners, and would be prefect as a spare. Like all instruments it will take a while to mature, so just enjoy playing and playing, like I'm doing. Good luck and happy playing!!
