Just tryed out these strings in 012 (heavy) and I must say that these strings are recomendble to the awerage Metal guitarist!
First of all the sound is just amazing when you crunch on the first string 052, the sound is very clear and they can take alot with my 1,2mm pick.
As for solo I can say the same these strings play them selfs and are you into deep and heavy sonud on your string these 012 (heavy) are awesome!
They can take alot and last for a long time without loseing any sustain.
