These strings have a micro thin coating that is put on the outer wire prior to being wound around the core wire. Due to this method of coating the string is allowed to move more freely than with other known coating methods that inables the string to move freely. Because of this micro coating these strings are more resistant to acid and dirt from the fingers than ordinary strings. Therefore they also last 3-4 times longer than regular strings.
